 Description  « Hide
I created a small site for searching in Firefox common phrases, and I noticed that while that was on local disk, i.e., loaded from file://, I couldn't search for "file", and now that it's up on http://l10n.mozilla.org/~axel/glossary/, I can't search for "http".

Just tried, and I couldn't search for http://l, either, http://w did promptly give an empty result.

Reproduced this on http://people.mozilla.com/~faaborg/files/granParadisoUI/icons/iconInventory.html, too.

Tested on Firefox 2 and current trunk builds, and on Safari 2.0.4.

When you said you couldn't search for "http", did you mean that you got no result, or that all items still remained in view? If the latter, it's because all items actually have "http" in them (in their URIs), and so they are all results.

Yes, I get all items.

I'm not sure why all items had http in their URIs, though, and why that'd matter. Not being able to search for a part of the website URL is a bug to me, whether the result is no result or no restriction of the results at all.
