piggy bank installation problem

Hi all.

I'm having troubles running piggy bank. As of the instructions, I
download it, install it and close firefox. When I restart it, no
window gets opened. On the console I get the following message:
 Allocating more space for read msg 276
 Allocating more space for read msg 312
Doing a strace on the running firefox processes shows that all are
stopped doing a wait() or a poll().

Is there any known conflict with the following configuration:
OS: Linux
firefox: 1.0.4
Java: java version "1.5.0_01" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment,
Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_01-b08) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
(build 1.5.0_01-b08, mixed mode, sharing)
