As a general warning, this sounds very much like it would delete any
bank data you've saved. You should probably stay away from the [mozilla
profile]/piggy-bank/ folder unless you intend to wipe it clean and start
anew.
I think it's likely that installing the latest XPI (2.0b3) was the
motivating solution; the preceding steps should be unnecessary in most
cases.
