Things I've done last week:
1) spent way too much time dealing with non-SIMILE-related issues for
the Apache Software Foundation
2) committed my blog software "Linotype" to the SIMILE repository, the
reason for this is two fold:
a) SIMILE needs a blog software
b) Linotype has a very advanced WYSIWYG XHTML editor and allows
image updates, some of this code might be useful to see RDF editing
capability we need.
c) it was already on my radar to add RDF support to Linotype
d) Linotype is Cocoon based, this also allows us to keep our
collective feet wet in that space [also because DSpace 2.0 might be
based on Cocoon as well]
3) merged all the changes that I accumulated over the years on
Linotype and redesigned the build system to allow it to be easily
decoupled from
4) started designing (on paper, for now) a cleaned-up web UI for Piggy
Bank 2.3
Things in my todo list for this week (in no particular order):
- help David finishing up Solvent
- finish Linotype refactoring and install on simile.mit.edu
- complete Referee and incorporate in the web site
- continue the Piggy Bank UI redesign (with David F2F since I'll be
back in Cambridge)
