[announcement] D2P Bridge makes Databases Accessible for Piggybank

* Database-to-Piggybank Bridge *

The D2P Database-to-Piggybank Bridge [1] is an extension to the Piggybank
Semantic Web browser which makes information stored in rational databases
accessible to Piggybank using D2RQ mappings [2]. The bridge allows you to
browse the content of non-RDF databases using Piggybank and to collect data
from relational databases into your local Piggybank RDF store.

The D2P Bridge is implemented as a new scraper type to piggybank. The scraper
will be activated using the famous scraper mechanism with a D2P scraper
configuration and a D2RQ mapping. Using the scraper the content of the
databases will not be replicated. The scraper direcly access the databases
via D2RQ.
