Fresnel [1, 2] has landed in Longwell 2.0 [3]; or, at least, enough of
it has to offer a glimpse of the two at work together. Using data from
different sources within MIT Libraries and MIT OpenCourseWare, the
following demo exhibits the use of Fresnel lenses to select portions of
data related to each resource and the use of Fresnel formats in
cooperation with CSS to style each resource, along with some minor
changes to the user interface of Longwell 2.0:
Please keep in mind that this work is still very much in progress. You
can check out a copy of Longwell 2.0 with Fresnel from our repository
[3]. Bugs and other issues can be filed in our issue tracker [4] under
the Longwell category. Discussion strictly concerning the Fresnel
vocabulary should be directed to the fresnel-dev mailing list [5], but
any other discussion pertaining to its place in Longwell is welcome here.
