It's "The Road Ahead"!

The web clipboard idea is a powerful one, it was put forward by timbl
in these slides:

http://www.w3.org/2004/Talks/0519-tbl-keynote/slide20-0.html

----------------------
RDF clipboard type

Sem Web on the desktop

* Negotiates ontologies between copy and paste

* Converts on the fly using rules.

challenge: Test cases: drag roll of film onto map, or bank statement
-----------------------

I've still not looked closely at the MS implementation, but they've
done remarkably well (!) in choosing microformats for the delivery
format as they're directly interpretable as RDF.

I blogged this the other day, contains some more links:

Cheers,
Danny.
