SEMANTIC-BANK Q&A: Neither sh- or bat-scripts will finalize cleanly

Neither the Windows XPP-cmd "semantic-bank.bat run semantic-bank.properties
src/rdf/ontologies" or Debian-Ubuntu Linux bin/bash "./semantic-bank.sh run
semantic-bank.properties src/rdf/ontologies" will start as expected, ending
in the following cmd or bin/bash errors:

2005-10-16 12:06:01,408 [SocketListener0-4] ERROR Velocity(143) - VM
#addNarrowingButton: error : too few arguments to macro. Wanted 3 got 0
2005-10-16 12:06:01,408 [SocketListener0-4] ERROR Velocity(143) - VM
#addBroadeningButton: error : too few arguments to macro. Wanted 3 got 0
2005-10-16 12:06:01,408 [SocketListener0-4] ERROR Velocity(143) - VM
#addTextSearchButton: error : too few arguments to macro. Wanted 1 got 0

As I understand it, it's not possible to execute the
"src/rdf/configurations" and "src/rdf/facades" command because of this.

Having both OS-platform fully up-to-date and tests done with Java 1.4.x or
1.5.x SDKs combined with Apache 1.3.x or Apache 2.0.x, I always end up with
the above errors and a basic ".\semantic-bank.sh run
semantic-bank.properties" in Firefox 1.0.7.

What's the problem?
