Java in Firefox extensions

Today, we have decided to give you the recipe to our secret sauce--how
to call your own Java code inside a Firefox extension (more
specifically, inside a Javascript-based XPCOM component):

This is a bare-bone Firefox extension demonstrating this technique,
which we have also used in Piggy Bank.
