I assume this would make piggy-bank mighty fast and slim as there would

No, this is currently not trivial, but it's on my todo list to decouple
the javascript part from the java part as much as possible, so that, in
theory, you could have piggybank hit a local semantic bank or a remote
one directly, as you asked.
